Juicing Veggies

This page contains info concerning juicing vegetables.  I'm frequently asked "What do I juice and how do I get started?"  Below is some research I've done that you may find helpful.  Its been a process getting to this point so take your time and do your own research.  I don't get paid or any endorsements from any of the info or links provided here.  I like to share info for the good of all who are interested in making healthy choices and changes in their own lives.
I believe we have to take responsibility for what we put in our bodies!

Updated 1-3-2013 / I will start posting my juicing and blending recipes here as I have time. Also, any thoughts and notes that I think are relevant.

Drinks:

KEEP WARM THIS WINTER WITH OLD GINGER

This winter, instead of drinking coffee, make a glass of hot lemon-ginger tea that has super immune-boosting ability and keeps you warm for the day.

Recipe:
-Juice from 1 small organic lemon (with peel)
- Juice from a thumb-size "old/dry" ginger
- 2 tablespoon raw honey or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder (optional)Mix all in 300ml (about 10oz) warm/hot water and enjoy!

Totally soothing to the throat, prevents cough and cold, helps with digestion and reduce fatigue.

Also add old ginger in any of your juices for an extra "oomph" and its warming effect. So good !!! :)

NOTES:
1-I believe you should juice and blend for overall effectiveness. Juicing requires a juicer to separated the juice from the pulp. Blending can be done in a regular blender or my favorite in a NutriBullet Juice Extractor.
3- Blender I use: NutriBullet
